Windows Hosting: I Hope You Don't Need It, But If You Do...

HostGator is offering Windows hosting now and you can read about it over in the Gallery of our site. While I don't recommend hosting on Windows, I'm sure HostGator is as good or better than any other company you will find and the cost will be the same or less.

The last time I used a Windows server for web hosting, you had to reboot it at least once a month. If you just let it go more than that it would always crash at some point. At least it was consistant that way.... :-)

Good blog post. The things i would like to make contributions about is that pc memory must be purchased but if your computer still can't cope with everything you do by using it. One can add two good old ram boards having 1GB each, for example, but not one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should look for the free website hosting documentation for own PC to make sure what type of ram is necessary.
