This email is not exactly a scam, but it is not honest either. The domains they offer are for sale, but they do not own it or represent the current owner because there is none. That's right, they are offering to sell you an unregistered domain worth about $10 for about 30 times it's actual value.

If you like the domain they are telling you about, then you can go register it yourself and not contact them. Then you may or may not want to report them for sending email spam. That's what I do. :-)
